GUJCET 2019:: Application Form, Notification, Eligibility, Exam Dates, Exam-Pattern, Syllabus

There will be no entrance exam conducted and admission will be granted via JEE Main 2019 of the applicants. Earlier, GUJCET was organised for undergraduate Engineering entrance in the different engineering colleges in the state.

GUJCET 2019 Exam pattern

The exam will be for 3 hours and there will be four sections including Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. Those who are appearing for the engineering course has to appear Physics, Maths and Chemistry.  Those candidates who are planning for Medical entrance through Gujrat CET ought to appear in Chemistry, Physics and Biology sections. There will be 40 questions in each section and each mark will be of 1 mark. The admission in different government and private colleges will be done on the basis of the scores scored by candidates in Gujarat Common Entrance Test. The pattern of the common entrance test is it comprises multiple choice questions with each questions carrying four alternative. The candidates are required to appear for different combination of subjects according to the preferred field. GUJCET is conducted in English, Hindi and Gujarati.

GUJCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed Higher secondary certificate examination in science stream that is organised by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary education board, Gandhinagar or the candidates who have filled in application form for appearing and eligible for attending the examination of class 12th. For appearing in GUJCET 2019, candidates should be 12th pass out in science stream.

  • Click on the link and download the link
  • Download the GUJCET admit card May 2019
  • Fill all the details and registration number along with email id
  • Now click on the submit button
  • As you submitted the details the admit card will appear in front of you
  • Download it and save it for further uses

Preparation Tips

  • In order understand the syllabus for the exam
  • Prepare a timetable for practicing and studying
  • Allocate sufficient time for study of different subjects
  • Allot time for solving different sample papers of different years
  • Follow the timetable regularly

GUJCET 2019 Exam

The exam will be conducted on May 2019. The candidates appearing for the exam must within the age limit of 17 years and 25 years. The applicants must have been passed higher secondary certificate examination with science stream conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar and the candidates must have filled in application form for appearing in the examination and have taken the examination of higher secondary science stream.

The exam will comprise total of 120 multiple choice question of 40 marks in each with four options like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths. The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes and there will be a penalty of 0.25 marks each wrong answers. The admit cards are available on the official website afire 20 days of the examination.
